The very welcome winter rains in Central Texas have led to the largest increase in lake levels — three feet at Lake Travis in five days — since Tropical Storm Hermine brought about a foot of rain to the lake in September 2010. We are expecting even more rain the next few weeks.

Construction of the 38,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market at the Galleria in Bee Cave is in full swing and is expected to open in late spring or early summer of 2012.
